Had a really good lunch. Love the tasting menu. Absolutely perfect. Got the cocktail flight too. Fancied a dessert but I honestly had no room left!! Love the theme, love the menu, great atmosphere, friendly staff. Good cocktails!

A truly amazing experience. Every bite is a medley of flavours, and the service is attentive and informative. Every dish had a backstory that conjured pictures of their places of origin. The chef even came out to deliver one of the courses, clearly delighted in seeing customers' reactions to his inventive creations. We had the taster menu, and there was plenty of variety for both of us. (The staff was more than happy to make vegan substitutions for my wife.) Can't think of a single complaint; already looking forward to our next visit!
Just had dinner with the family. Brilliant service! The chaps who took the order and the fella who served, described every dish which was commendable!It was great to see the chef owner Prasad being around in amongst the guests!! The 10 course Punjab tasting menu is excellent! The spice levels were just right for my palate! Not firey hot; just enough to give a distinctive flavour to the different dishes! First time having an Indian taster menu; Nearly £30 pp but the taste justifies the price. Great work chef; it was worth the travel for nearly an hour to get to your place. Beautiful presentation of all the dishes! I’d definitely return when the menu changes in future.

Brilliant restaurant and fabulous staff. A favourite place for me. Was here to celebrate my birthday with a large group of friends and everything was great. 2 vegan friends had their requirements accommodated for some of the courses on the set menu while a lot of the courses are already plant based. Plenty of choices for drinks too. Cocktails are great and so are the mocktails. Menu is reasonably priced so the factor that will push up your price is how much you have to drink but they'll happily provide you with water for the table.
Went for the 7 course lunch tasting menu, everything was delicious. For the main course we had the lamb and the chicken Tikka masala.

When I read Chitra Ramaswany’s review of Dhoom in The Sunday Times, and visited its website where it headlines as “Welcome to Scotland’s No. 1 restaurant”, I had two thoughts - that’s bold and challenge accepted. On my next visit to Edinburgh I ensured to make a reservation and took an hour long train ride to Dunfermline. And boy it did not disappoint. Every bite is unique. Flavors are bold and imaginative. Shocking the traditional dishes like “Makhani Kukkad” (butter chicken) is dairy-free, gluten-free, and nut-free. Chef Prasad and team are artists. The 10-course dinner Punjab tour was so good that we are coming back for lunch. Cannot recommend highly enough. It’s a must stop for anyone visiting Scotland. And yes, I am a believer that Dhoom is certainly “No 1 rated restaurant in Scotland”. Update: We did return to Dhoom next day to savor the lunch menu and we were speechless. The lunch menu is a collective of different dishes from across India and each one was unique and creatively flavored. Chef Prasad himself was out and about in the restaurant serving and sharing stories behind the dishes. Will not forget our experience and will certainly return.
